O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.10328 of 2016 dated 21.03.2016. The said Writ Petition was filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to consider her representation dated 29.02.2016, in which, the petitioner had made certain allegations against the fourth respondent in the Writ

Petition and the Court disposed of the Writ Petition by an order dated 21.03.2016, directing the second respondent to take appropriate action on the representation. 2.The petitioner who is appearing in person submitted that on 10.06.2016, she appeared before the respondent and it is alleged that no orders have been passed. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions from the respondent submitted that an order has been passed on 03.08.2016, wherein it has been pointed out that as the nature of complaint is an Election dispute, the respondent has forwarded the complaint to the State Election Commissioner.

4.The petitioner appearing in person does not dispute the fact that she has received a copy of the order dated 03.08.2016.

5.In the light of the above, the question of entertaining the Contempt Petition does not arise. The petitioner appearing in person states that she wants a general direction. However, such direction cannot be granted in a Contempt Petition and the prayer in the Writ Petition itself was only to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner.

In the light of the above, the Contempt Petition is closed.
