This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to hand over the lorry.
2. The Lorry belonging to the petitioner was seized by the respondent police in Crime No.58 of 2019 for an offence under Sections 379 and 430 IPC. The petitioner filed an application before the Court below seeking for return of the Lorry. This application was not entertained by the concerned Judicial Magistrate and therefore, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed before this Court.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to produce all the documents relating to the Lorry bearing Registration No.TN 23 AD 1253 before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
file an appropriate application before the concerned Judicial Magistrate for return of vehicle.
