ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.10 of 2021 on 08.12.2021, pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch Erode, within a time frame.

2. Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent would submit that originally the case was registered for the offence under Section 420 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

IPC. Thereafter, during the course of investigation, FIR was altered for the offence under Section 417, 480, 420 r/w 109 of IPC. He would further submit that the investigation in Crime No.10 of 2021 would be completed soon and the second respondent will able to file the final report within a period of six months.

3. Recording the same, direction is issued to the second respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.10 of 2021, pending on his file and file the final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of the receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
