This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for the wilful disobedience of the orders of this Court passed in Crl.O.P.No.17230 of 2016 dated 09.08.2016.

2. Today, Mr.Joginder, Inspector of Police, Ambur Taluk Police Station is present before this Court.

3. In Crl.O.P.No.17230 of 2016, this Court had https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ passed the final order on 09.08.2016 and it was made ready

by the Registry only on 16.08.2016, but whereas, this contempt petition has been filed on 17.08.2016 alleging that the police have not acted on the order dated 09.08.2016.

4. However, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that on the complaint dated 15.08.2016 given by the petitioner, the respondent police have registered a case in Cr.No.314 of 2016 on 15.08.2016 for offences u/s 294(b), 323, 506(i) and 379 IPC against Vinoth Kumar and Vignesh.

In view of the above, nothing survives in the contempt petition and the same is closed. Since this complaint has already been registered, the respondent police need not register the second complaint based on the order of this Court.
