PRAKASH CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.12447,12488 and 12449 of 2017 IN CRL OP.18111/2016 SATHICK BASHA, [ PETITIONER ] Vs THE INSPECTOR OF POLICE [ RESPONDENT ] VIDEO PIRACY CELL, GANESH APARTMENT, MEDAVAKKAM TANK ROAD, AYANAVARAM, CHENNAI-600 023.

Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition in Crl.OP.Nos.18111,18112 & 18113/2016 dated 29.08.2017 to the effect that the petitioner may be directed to produce only two sureties of whom one should be a blood relative for all the three cases in common and thus render justice.[CRL.MP.NOS.12447,12448 AND 12449/2017] Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.K.RAJA, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.G.MADHAN Government Advocate[crl.side] on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- Three cases were registered against the petitioner viz., Cr.Nos.

133, 134 and 135 of 2016 by the same respondent police and this Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner in all the three crime numbers in Crl.O.P Nos.18111, 18112 and 18113 of 2016 on 29.08.2017 on condition that the petitioner shall surrender before XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai and execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each, of whom, one should be a blood relative, of course, with other conditions.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though anticipatory bail was granted on 29.08.2017, the petitioner has not been able to get six persons, of whom, three relatives, standing as sureties for the petitioner in each of the Crime Numbers. 3.

Accepting the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is permitted to furnish common sureties in all the three cases.

The rest of the conditions imposed by this Court on 29.08.2017 shall stand unaltered.
