.. RESPONDENTS/RESPONDENTS Sub Application filed Under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure praying this Court be pleased to re-open the Contempt Petition No.547 of 2020 order dated on 18/09/2020.
Contempt Petition filed Under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying that this Court pleased to punish the respondents herein for willfully disobeying and violating the order of this Hon'ble Court dated 25.11.2019, passed in W.P.No.32894 of 2019.
The above Sub Application coming on this day before this Court for hearing in the presence of M/s.R.K.Gandhi, Learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant herein; and of Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, Learned Special Govt. Pleader appearing for the Respondents herein; and upon perusing the Application and affidavit of Sivaselvam, filed herein; the Court made the following order:- "This petition has been filed seeking to re-open Contempt Petition No.547 of 2020.
2.This Court vide order dated 25.11.1999 made in W.P.No.32894 of 2019 issued direction to the respondents therein to dispose of the petitioner's representation within a time frame. 3.When the contempt petition was taken up for consideration on 18.09.2020, it was represented by the learned Special Government Pleader that the petitioner's representation was considered and the same was disposed of and the petitioner was informed that there is no vacancy in the post of Staff Nurse at Thoothukudi District. 4.Perusal of the records disclosed that in compliance of the order dated 25.11.1999 made in W.P.No.32894 of 2019, the petitioner's representation was considered and appropriate orders were passed on 31.01.2020. Hence, the contempt petition was closed on 18.09.2020.
5.In view of the above, this Court finds no ground to set aside the order dated 18.09.2020 and to re-open Contempt Petition No.547 of 2020. 6.This sub application is accordingly closed.
