ORDER

In this Writ Petition, the Petitioner seeks to quash the order of the 1st Respondent, dated 07.01.2016, rejecting her application to the post of Assistant Medical Officer, Homeopathy.

2. This Court heard and considered the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side.

3. Pursuant to the notification dated 26.03.2015 of the 1st Respondent, the Petitioner applied to the post of Assistant Medical Officer, Homeopathy and she was assigned Reg.No.010005268. By the impugned order, her application was rejected on the ground that she has not registered her name with the Tamil Nadu Homeopathy Medical Council on or before the notification dated 26.03.2015. Hence, this Writ Petition has been filed.

4. According to the Petitioner, the registration of her name with the Tamil Nadu Homeopathy Medical Council was done on 30.3.2015, though she completed the course as early as in the month of May 2014, for which the Petitioner cannot be found fault with.

5. On the other hand, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the 1st Respondent that though the Petitioner appeared for the written examination, but not appeared for the viva voce test. In view of the same, the relief as sought for in this Writ Petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected WMPs are closed.
