This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to call for the records pertaining to the Charge Sheet in C.C.No.191 of 2017 pending on the file of the Hon'ble Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur for the alleged offences u/s.294(b), 448, 506(i) of I.P.C as against the petitioner and quash the same.

ORDER

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has died on 14.05.2021. He has produced a copy of the Death Certificate of the petitioner, before this Court. Therefore, the learned counsel sought the permission of this Court to withdraw the present criminal original petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the petition.

2. In view of the submission coupled with the endorsement made by the learned counsel for petitioner, this criminal original petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 21.07.2023 mrr 2/4
