The petition is filed to condone the delay of 197 days in preferring the appeal against the award of the learned Special District Judge, MCOP Tribunal, Salem in MCOP.No.1089 of 2018 dated 01.03.2022.

2. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, the learned counsel takes notice for respondents 1 and

2. Though notice served on the third respondent, none appears. The learned Government Pleader submits that there is delay of 197 days and it may be condoned, but subject to condition that the petitioners forfeit interest for the delay period of 197 days.

3. In view of the said submission, delay of 197 days is condoned on condition that the petitioners shall not be entitled to interest for the delay period of 197 days.

Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
