Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pay the Subsistence Allowance to the petitioner and to conclude the departmental enquiry at earliest.

2.The petitioners were placed under suspension on 19.12.2012, 30.04.2014, 11.08.2014 and 29.01.2015 respectively, by the

respondents. The departmental enquiry is yet to be concluded and no final order is passed.

3.The petitioners have filed these writ petitions seeking a direction to the respondents to pay subsistence allowance and to conclude departmental enquiry within a time frame. 4.In view of the narrow prayer made, a direction is issued to the respondents to pay the subsistence allowance within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the subsistence allowance is not yet paid. The respondents shall continue to pay the subsistence allowance every month on or before 10th of the subsequent month. The respondents are directed to conclude the departmental enquiry and pass orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. These writ petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
