Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners representation dt 18.8.2014 and make necessary modification in Patta No.919 with respect to petitioners land comprised in S. No. 984/1A 984/1E 984/1H and 984/1J total extent of Acres 2.55 cents in No.142 Paranthur II Village Kancheepuram District.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims that she has purchased the immovable properties comprised in S.No.984/1A of an extent of 0.30.00 Ares (Acre 0.75 cents), S.No.984/1E, an extent of 0.15.50 Ares (Acre 0.38 cent) S.No.984/1H, an extent of 0.41.50 Ares (Acre 1.02 cents) and S.No.984/1J, an extent of 0.16.50 Ares (Acre 0.41 cents) in total extent of Acres 2.55 cents in S.No.142, Paranathur II Village, Kancheepuram Talk and District vide a registered sale deed dated 25.03.2010 (Registered as Document No.1463/2010) on the file of the Joint Sub Registrar, Kancheepuram).

3. The petitioner would further state that after her purchase, patta was also transferred in her name in Patta No.839 and adjacent land owners has also got separate patta in their names. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that, a joint computer patta including all the owners and also the previous owners for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

entire extent of the land in S.No.984, has been given by assigning a new sub division as S.No.984/1A1A1, admeasuring to an extent of 4.12.72 Hectares in Patta No.919. The petitioner aggrieved by the said fact, submitted a representation dated 18.08.2014 and in this regard, the 2nd respondent has also submitted a report to the 1st respondent. Since no orders have been passed on the said representation, she came forward to file this writ petition.

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Muthappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

Taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the representation, this Court, directs the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 18.08.2014 submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the 3rd respondent and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the 3rd respondent.
