Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of her appeal filed on 05.05.2017 acknowledged by the first respondent on 09.05.2017 arising out of patta proceedings.

3. The 2nd respondent herein is the respondent in the appeal before the first respondent. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in respect of the said patta proceedings as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the appeal and pass orders on the same on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

merits and in accordance with after hearing the petitioner as well as the 2nd respondent. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
