Respondent Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to issue a direction directing the respondent herein to subject the offending vehicle viz., Tractor bearing registration TN 23 R 1909 to Motor Vehicle Inspection in relation to the offence registered in Cr.No.235 of 2022 on the file of the respondent. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to subject the offending vehicle viz., Tractor bearing registration TN 23 R 1909 to Motor Vehicle Inspection in 1/4

relation to the offence registered in Crime No.235 of 2022 on the file of the respondent.

2. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that an FIR has been registered in Crime No.235 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 279 & 304(A) of IPC. After the registration of the FIR, the vehicle, which was originally alleged to be involved in the accident, bearing Registration No.TN 23 R 1909, was subjected to motor vehicle inspection. Thereafter, it was found that the said Tractor was not involved in the accident.

3. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
