According to the petitioner, the respondent herein filed petition in IDOP.No.45 of 2016 seeking for Decree and Judgment to dissolve the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent. Pending the aforesaid IDOP, the petitioner filed an application in IA.No.529 of 2016. After hearing both parties and after concluded enquiry without passing orders in the said IA, the court below has
posted for trial in main OP. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition before this Court for the aforesaid prayer.
2. The petitioner has prayed for disposal of the IA before OP is taken up for trial. It is an admitted fact the OP is posted for cross examination of PW1. Therefore, this Court cannot express any opinion on merits on the IA. However, in the interest of justice, this Court is inclined to direct the Family Court, Chengalpet to dispose of the said application in IA.No.529 of 2016 in IDOP.No.45 of 2016 in one way or other in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order and thereafter, to proceed with the trial.
3. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with above direction. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
