ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2024.

Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondents and perusing the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition and the other material records of the case, it can be seen that the petitioner is a practising Advocate. He has appeared for the first and second respondents and the authorities under the first and second respondents in many cases before the 2/5

Committee. For their appearances, the petitioner has claimed his bills. It is contention in the representation that bill amount remains unpaid.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Advocate General who would submit that the authorities will scrutinise the bills and if the bills are admitted, then they will be pay it in due course.

4. In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms;

(i) The petitioner shall appear before the first respondent on 08.04.2025 or any such date thereafter indicated by the first respondent;

(ii) The first respondent shall take up the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2024 for consideration. The bill shall be scrutinised by the first respondent or any subordinates and if any amount is found to be due the same shall be released. Even in case of any disputed bills the petitioner can be intimidated and the petitioner can produce such proof to prove that the bills are due and upon receipt of proof thereof, decision can be taken in accordance with law; 3/5

(iii) The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from 08.04.2025. The party shall act upon and the amount due if any found, shall be paid within a period of 12 weeks from the receipt/production of the web copy of the order without waiting for the certified copy of the order. (iv) No costs.
