ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents "not to harass"the petitioner except due process of law.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On a complaint given by one Pavithra, who is wife of the first petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in C.44 of 2016. On a complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.36 of 2016. While so, during the enquiry, the petitioner seems to have agreed to return all the Jewellery and Sridhana Articles to the Defacto complainant. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioners shall co-operate for the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, they shall not be harassed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
