The petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents to grant adequate compensation of Rs.10 00 000/- with 18 percentages of interest per annum due to the negligence carelessness and breach of duty on the part of the respondents the petitioner was hit by electric shock had got paralysed permanently and lost her speech and ability to eat which caused an irreparable loss deem fit.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that on 16.09.2018, the petitioner was electrocuted during while she was as came out to sweep her house in the front portion at around 5.00 am in the early morning. At that time, it was litter dark without knowing that the electricity cable was cut and lying inside her compound wall, she stamped the electricity cable which was passing the high voltage of current unexpectedly thrown back and sustained head injury, immediately she was taken to the hospital where she was admitted as inpatient and taken treatment there. She found that she severally affected she lost her right hand and lost her speaking and eating ability which caused an irreparable loss to her. The doctors had said that it could not able to curable due to her age factor due to the
negligence, carelessness and breath of duty on the part of the respondents. Since the petitioner filing the writ petition to direct the respondents to grant the compensation of Rs.10,00,000/- with 18% of interest per annum for her loss.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted as per the existing procedure, the petitioner is entitled to receive a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- as compensation and the same will be paid to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. On instructions, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to accept the compensation as provided by the State.
5. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for either side, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to grant adequate compensation to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
