ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 28.01.2021 and consequently direct the respondent to give domestic electricity connection to the petitioner's house at ground floor portion of Old No.9, New No.9, Gulam Abbas Ali Khan Street, Thousand Lights, Chennai - 600 006.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner along with other share-holders are the owners of the above said property. Seeking for domestic electricity connection to the said house, the petitioner made a representation dated 28.01.2021, before the third respondent. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Though very many grounds have been raised in the present writ petition, it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents 2/6
to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2021 and pass appropriate orders within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection for the said order being passed.
5. Heard learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the petitioner to send a copy of the representation dated 28.01.2021 along with a copy of this order before the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the respondents are directed to consider the said representation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons if any within a period of four weeks thereafter. 3/6
7. This writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 15.03.2023 RAP Index :
