ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to return the sale deed dated 24.12.2025 presented by the petitioner for registration to the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. On instructions, he would submit that a protest petition was received and only under those circumstances, the sale deed, dated 24.12.2025 presented by the petitioner for registration was not returned to the petitioner. He would further submit that in the protest petition submitted by one Ellareddy, the 2nd respondent had issued notice to the petitioner as well as the said Ellareddy for appearance on 04.03.2026. On the said date, the said Ellareddy sought further time for production of documents and for objections. On instructions, he would submit that within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, final decision will be taken by the respondents as to whether the document presented by the petitioner for registration can be accepted or not. In case, the petitioner's Page No.2 of 4

document is refused to be accepted, he would submit that a refusal slip will be issued to the petitioner.

3. After recording the undertaking given by the respondents as stated supra, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's request for registration of the sale deed, dated 24.12.2025 presented by the petitioner for registration and for return of the sale deed to the petitioner, within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing all the necessary parties, which includes the said Ellareddy. No costs.
