Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the 1st respondent/The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Koyembedu, Maduravoiyal, Chennai 600095 to transfer the FIR in Crime No.802 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of the 2nd respondent, The Inspector of Police (Crime), R5 Virugambakkam Police Station, Chennai, to some other investigating officer or branch and complete the investigation within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking transfer of the investigation in Crime No.802 of 2022 from the file of the second respondent to any other investigating agency.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents police submitted that after registration of the FIR in Crime No.802 of 2022, the second respondent completed the investigation and the same was closed as "Mistake of Facts".

3. In view of the above, no investigation is pending on the file of the second respondent. Therefore, the question of transferring the investigation does not arise. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
