ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 26.12.2025 sent for registering the death of the petitioner's father Govindappa and to issue the Death Certificate.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. The petitioner sent a representation on 26.012.2026 for the first respondent seeking to register his father's death and for issuance of death certificate, however, the same is pending without consideration till date. Hence, the writ petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation/application of the petitioner dated 26.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
