3.
When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent bank, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner has not submitted any application seeking educational loan in the prescribed format as on date. What was submitted by the petitioner is only a representation seeking educational loan, which cannot be processed. It is further stated that if any such application is submitted by the petitioner, in the prescribed format, it will be considered 4.
I heard the counsel for both sides and perused the documents made available in the typed set of papers. As rightly pointed out by the learned counsel for the respondent, the petitioner has sent only representation seeking sanction of educational loan. For the purpose of grant of educational loan, the petitioner has to submit necessary application in the prescribed format. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to submit such application to the respondent bank along with necessary documents and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to consider it and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. Tthe the writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
