Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to sanction third incentive increment to the petitioner for having acquired higher qualification of M.Phil., degree with arrears of salary with interest (i.e. From March 2009) within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2.The petitioner is a Secondary Grade Teacher. He has acquired M.Phil qualification. He has sought for incentive for acquiring the said qualification. He has made a representation dated 12.01.2015 to the third respondent seeking to grant him incentive increment for the said qualification.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner also relied on a judgment of the Hon'ble Bench of this Court made in W.A.(MD) No.131 of 2014 dated 18.12.2014 and prayed for the aforesaid relief. 4.In view of the narrow prayer made, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the third respondent to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 12.01.2015 for incentive increment for acquiring M.Phil qualification in the light of the judgment of the Hon'ble Bench of this Court made in W.A.(MD) No.131 of 2014 dated 18.12.2014, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
