This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, Meensurutti Police Station, Ariyalur District, Second respondent herein to register an FIR on the complaint dated 27.04.2015 given by the petitioner to the first respondent and investigate the same and file final report.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the material placed on record.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 27.04.2015 by post to the first respondent. The petitioner is directed to go in person and give a copy of the complaint to the second Respondent and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into in accordance with law, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh & Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
