ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for directing the respondents to take action for conducting the annual Brahmotsavam Festival for the Sri Nala Narayana Perumal Kovil, situated at Thirunallar, Karaikal District, Puducherry. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that only on the action of some miscreants the festival has been stopped and it has been conducted atleast this year.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions would submit that in this regard it is essential to get the concerned Kattalai to get things done. In this regard they have already written to the persons who are in administration of the Kattalai namely M/s.Kattalai Vicharanai. They are yet to receive reply. Once 2/5

the reply is received further action will be taken to conduct the festival. Recording the same and directing respondents to take expeditious steps, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
