ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for an early disposal of his appeal, dated 31.05.2024, pending on the file of the 3rd respondent.

2. Aggrieved by the order of the 4th respondent, the petitioner had preferred an appeal dated 31.05.2024 before the 3rd respondent. Since the same was not disposed of, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 31.05.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, by adhering to the principles of natural justice. not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's appeal, dated 31.05.2024.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 31.05.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by adhering to the principles of natural justice.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
