This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner without any valid reasons.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. It is seen that the police have completed investigation in Crime No.35 of 2012 and filed a final report in C.C.No.127 of 2015 before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Namakkal, for the offences under Sections 120(b), 408 and 420 IPC. When the police went to serve the summons on the petitioner, he approached this court.
4. Since, investigation has been completed and final report has been filed, the petitioner shall not be harassed in this case.
5. The petitioner is directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.II, Namakkal in C.C.No.127 of 2015 on the next hearing date.
