This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the OnLine application submitted by the petitioner on 28.11.2024 and to survey the subject property to demarcate the boundaries.
2. Heard Mr.S.Sasikumar, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.V.J.Priyadarsana, learned Government Advocate appearing for fourth respondent.
3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of a settlement deed dated 23.07.2024. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property and the same was disturbed by the fifth respondent. Hence, a complaint was given and the enquiry is pending in CSR No.1401 of 2024 before the fourth 2/4
respondent. Since the application submitted by the petitioner was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the OnLine application submitted by the petitioner on 28.11.2024 and conduct the survey in line with the title deed of the petitioner. Such survey will be conducted in the presence of the fifth respondent. If it gives rise to any law and order problem, the fourth respondent shall provide police protection. This process shall be completed by the respondents 1 and 2 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
