The writ on hand has been filed seeking a direction to conduct an enquiry in expedite manner with the respect to the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2022 with respect to the property at Survey No.363 & 364 (new Survey No.704) within the Sub Registration District of Periamet, Chennai.
2. The petitioner states that she submitted an application before the District Registrar, Central Chennai to cancel the registered Document No.703 of 1943 and Document No.2120 of 2018.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that her property has been added in the schedule of property conveyed in the above documents without her knowledge and consent. Therefore, the complaint is to be looked into carefully by way of conducting an enquiry.
4. In view of the fact that the complaint submitted by the petitioner relating to infringement of rights, the authorities competent are bound to conduct an enquiry as contemplated under Section 36 of the Tamil Nadu Registration Act, 1908.
5. In view of the facts and circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry by affording opportunity to all the parties and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. The petitioner has been directed to submit an application / complaint in the prescribed format along with the order passed in this writ petition within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
