Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, directing the first and second respondents to provide Police protection to live their house at No.2/228, Anna Nagar, Kaveripattinam, Krishnagiri District from the third respondent Saravana and the political supporters along with unknown person, by consider the representation of the petitioner on 22.3.2022 to secure the ends of justice. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide Police protection to the petitioners to live their house at No.2/228, Anna Nagar,

Kaveripattinam, Krishnagiri District, by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.03.2022. 2.The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that despite the representation of the petitioner, the Police has not acted to provide Police protection to the petitioners. He would also submitted that this Court may direct the Police to give necessary Police protection to the petitioners. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that there is civil dispute between the petitioners and the 3rd respondent and hence, they were directed to approach the civil forum.

4.In such view of the matter, the prayer sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted by this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. It is nothing but a civil dispute, which has been converted into criminal proceedings.

5.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
