No.TN/CHN/ADR/008 dated 21.11.13 and Ref. No.TN/CBE/TP4/006 dated 26.11.2013 and to quash the same with the consequential direction directing the respondents to reconsider the petitioners candidature and allow her to participate in the selection proceedings for the award of LPG Distributorship. The Writ Petition is filed challenging the rejection of the petitioner's application for award of LPG Distributorship in Tiruppur and Adyar.

On 30.07.2020, when the matter was called, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be listed on 21.08.2020. When the matter was listed on 21.08.2020, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and hence, in order to give one more opportunity to the petitioner to argue the case, the matter was directed to be listed on 09.09.2020 under the caption 'For Dismissal'. Even today (i.e. on 11.09.2020), when the matter is called, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through counsel, though his name has been printed in the cause list. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the LPG distributorship for both the places have already been allotted to different persons. Therefore, even on merits, there is nothing to be adjudicated in this Writ petition, as the writ has become infructuous. However, the same is dismissed for non prosecution for the non-appearance of the counsel for the petitioner.

4. Hence this writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
