ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The grievance in the petition is that a Tasmac off-shop has been set up opposite a college. It is also submitted that the said shop violates the distance norms even in respect of a place of worship.

2. A counter-affidavit has been filed on behalf of Tasmac. At paragraph 10 of the affidavit, it has been clearly asserted that the distance norms have been maintained. It is upon appropriate measurements being taken that the Collector granted the license.

3. Since the writ petitioner has not been able to detract from what is indicated in the counter-affidavit and the writ petitioner has merely challenged the location of the shop and not the guidelines framed in such regard, the matter is disposed of in the light of the representation on behalf of Tasmac that the relevant shop in the present case does not violate any of the distance norms pertaining to the setting-up of an off-shop. W.P.No.6834 of 2020 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
