2. Dhanalakshmi got married to Raveendranath on 08.07.2012 and through the marriage, they have two children, viz., R.Karthi and R.Srivigneshwaran. After the couple got estranged due to matrimonial discord, Dhanalakshmi filed M.C.No.629 of 2015 under Section 125 Cr.P.C. and the same is pending on the file of VI Additional Family Court, Chennai. Further, Dhanalakshmi filed M.P.No.384 of 2017 in M.C.No.629 of 2015 for interim maintenance, in which, the Family Court, by order dated 27.10.2017, has directed Raveendranath to pay Rs.15,000/- per
month (Dhanalakshmi and two sons) at the rate of Rs.5,000/- each till the disposal of M.C.No.629 of 2015. Challenging the said order, Raveendranath has filed the present Criminal Revision Petition.
3. At the time of admission of this Criminal Revision Petition on 26.04.2018, this Court granted interim stay on condition that Raveendranath should deposit 50% of the interim maintenance amount before 19.06.2018 and he was further directed to pay Rs.9,000/- (Rs.3,000/- each X 3) as interim maintenance to Dhanalakshmi, until disposal of this Criminal Revision Petition.
4. Heard Mr.E.Kannadasan, learned counsel for Raveendranath and Mr.S.N.Narasimhulu , learned counsel for Dhanalakshmi and her two minor sons, viz., Karthi and Srivigneshwaran.
5. It is seen that Raveendranath has not complied with the interim order dated 26.04.2018 passed by this Court till date. That apart, the order in M.P.No.384 of 2017 is only for interim maintenance.
6. In such view of the matter, this Criminal Revision Petition stands dismissed. The Family Court is directed to proceed with the M.C.No.629 of 2015 expeditiously. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
