This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.4854/2011 dated 06.07.2011 on the file of the Tiruppur North Police Station, Tiruppur.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Today, Mr.Rajasekaran, Inspector of Police, Tiruppur North Police Station is present. Mr.S.Syed Babu, Inspector of Police, E2, Peelamedu Crime, Coimbatore City is present.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case in Tiruppur North P.S. Crime No.4854/2011 was closed as "mistake of fact" as early as 07.07.2011 and similarly, the case in B6, Peelamedu P.S. Crime No.1077/2011 was closed as "mistake of fact" on 06.12.2011.
