.. Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to pass appropriate order on the representation given by the petitioner dated 06.04.2015.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims that he is the Trustee of Guru Namasivaya Mutt, situated at No.30/36, Karaikattu Chokkalingam Pillai Street, Chidambaram and according to him, the said Mutt owns property situated in T.S.Nos.213, 214, 215, 216 and 217 at Block 4, Ward 3, Chidambaram.

The petitioner has submitted a representation/application dated 06.04.2015, along with the documents evidencing payments of necessary fees for surveying the above said properties belonging to the said Mutt and since, no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition.

Heard the submissions of Mr.K.Ramesh,, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Rm.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 4 and 6, Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate (HR&CE), who accepts notice for 5th respondent and Mr.S.K.Raameshuwar, learned Standing counsel for TNEB, who accepts notice for 8th respondent.

Taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the representation, this Court, directs the 3rd and 6th respondents to consider the representation dated 06.04.2015 submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
6. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
