ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to renew / re-issue my passport bearing No.K0350555.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is having a passport bearing No.K0350555 with a validity from 03.02.2012 to 02.02.2022. Seeking for renewal of said passport, the petitioner made an on-line application dated 23.02.2022 through portal. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Though very many grounds have been raised in the present writ petition, it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 23.02.2022 and pass appropriate orders within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection for 2/4

the said order being passed.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the first respondent to conduct enquiry and pass detailed order on the petitioner's on-line application dated 23.02.2022, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. 15.03.2023 RAP Index :
