This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner based on the false and bogus complaint given by one Hemalatha. 1/3

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the FIR was registered against the petitioner and the final report has been filed and the case is now pending in CC No.384 of 2023 before the Additional Mahila Court, Thiruvallur. The very same defacto complainant has given yet another complaint which is taken on file in CSR No.720 of 2023. 3.

In the considered view of this Court, when there is already criminal proceedings pending, there is no question of calling the petitioner for an eqnuiry by the police. Hence, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent police to close the CSR. 4.
