With the consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for the issuance of a mandamus directing the respondents to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2015 and thereby directing the respondents to issue death cum service benefits of late Mr.B.Mohan to the petitioner including family pension within a time frame.
3.The husband of the petitioner was employed in Thiruvotriyur municipality, which now comes under Chennai Corporation. The husband of the petitioner died on 06.11.2012. The petitioner has three daughters born through the deceased employee of the third respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has not been paid the terminal benefits including pension. The petitioner made representations dated 29.05.2014 and 13.04.2015. Now, the writ petition is filed, seeking for a direction to dispose of those representations.
4.In the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the second and third respondents to pass orders on the representations of the petitioner referred to above for pension and other benefits due to the death of the husband of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
