ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to not to harass the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that one Venkatesan used to sexually abuse the petitioner, for which on 09.12.2025 the petitioner

lodged a complaint before the Women's Commissioner. Thereafter, as a counterblast, the said Venkatesan made a false complaint against the petitioner alleging that she had been making allotments to one Kavitha, Santhi, and Saraswathi by collecting money. It was further submitted that the petitioner received a summon from the third respondent on 19.01.2026 to appear before him on 22.01.2026. Out of fear, instead of appearing, the petitioner gave a representation to the first respondent seeking instructions to respondents 2 and 3 not to harass her. That representation was transferred to the third respondent, who in turn issued another summon on 13.02.2026 to appear on 16.02.2026.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner was involved in allotment of housing plots by collecting money, and when called for enquiry, she failed to appear and furnish details.

4. From the submissions, it is seen that the petitioner was involved in allotment of housing plots and collected money from various persons, and complaints have been received against her. In connection with the same, she was called for enquiry and on 22.01.2026 to settle the issue with the complainants, but thereafter failed to appear.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is willing to appear before the respondent police without fail on 17.03.2026 and thereafter on subsequent hearing dates, if required.

6. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
