O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for police protection. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is involved in the construction works in his property. While so, he and his workers were threatened by on Gurumurugaperumal and other accused persons, due to previous enmity with regard to construction works. Therefore, he filed complaint before the respondent police initially and action was taken against the accused persons by the respondent Police in CSR.No.221 of 2019.

Even thereafter, the accused persons are continuously giving disturbance to the workers and also damaged the CCTV cameras in the site. Therefore, the petitioner gave a representation dated 13.02.2019 to the respondent Police seeking protection. Since no orders have been passed, the petitioner has filed the present petition with the aforesaid prayer. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the representation of the petitioner, investigation is pending. 4.Heard Mr.M.J.Sundar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent Police.

5. This Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.02.2019 and take suitable action in the manner known to law.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
