O R D E R

The Management has come up with this Writ Petition challenging the Award dated 18.07.2013 passed by the Labour Court in I.D.No.249 of 2005, whereby, the termination of the 2nd Respondent's service in the Petitioner/Management was set aside and the Petitioner/Management was directed to reinstate the 2nd Respondent in service with 50% backwages, continuity of service and all other attendant benefits.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the Petitioner/Management agreed to pay a sum of Rs.1,75,000/- to the 2nd Respondent/workman as full and final settlement, which is over and above the amount already deposited in the Labour Court.

Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner/Management, this Court directs the Petitioner/Management to deposit the said sum of Rs.1,75,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Seventy Five Thousand only) before the Labour Court within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Within one month from the date of deposit of the said amount, the Labour Court shall pay the entire amount including the amount that is lying in deposit together with accrued interest to the 2nd Respondent herein.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction and observation. No costs.
