ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 10.02.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for an enquiry to be conducted and to cancel the assignment of lands made pursuant to the proceedings dated 24.01.2013.

Heard Mr.P.Raja, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokula Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 6.

The specific case of the petitioner is that the subject property was declared as a Special and Hazardous Industrial zone and inspite of the same, assignment was made in favour of private respondents in the year 2013. The said property was already allotted to 3 rd parties and once again, the very same property was assigned in favour of the private respondents through proceedings dated 24.01.2013. Hence, the representation was made for cancellation of assignment of lands. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 10.02.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to all the private respondents / assignees and orders shall be passed within a period of tweleve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, 5.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
