ORDER
The writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to permit the petitioner to proceed with Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship and further academic requirements.
2. Upon hearing the learned counsel on either side, the grievance of the petitioner is that she has now completed the academic portion of the M.B.B.S programme and when she is to proceed for the internship, the same is not being permitted by the institution as there are arrears of fees.
3. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the fourth respondent, it can be seen that the total fee from the first year itself is due. It is stated that an amount of Rs.53,00,000/- is due from the petitioner. Therefore, it can be seen that the institution has been greatly benevolent towards the student and now it is facing the problem of being good.
4. In the said circumstances, this Court directed the learned counsel for the petitioner to get instructions as to when the petitioner can pay the arrears.
The learned counsel would submit that upfront the petitioner would pay a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- and the balance will be cleared within six months in monthly instalments.

In view thereof, while the petitioner does not deserve any equity, since a long rope has been given by the fourth respondent institution, only considering the fact that no person should be deprived of educational prospects merely on the question of money, an opportunity is given to the petitioner. The petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- towards the arrears to the fourth respondent institution. Upon such payment, the fourth respondent shall permit the petitioner to further progress by declaring the results and permitting her to join the compulsory rotatory residential internship. With reference to the balance amount, the same shall be paid in five equal monthly instalments and the first instalment shall be paid on or before 05.04.2026 and the subsequent instalments shall be paid on the 5th of every succeeding calendar month. Even if one instalment is defaulted, the college can take all such steps in accordance with law.
6. In view of the above order, the University can also declare the results, since the same is being withheld in view of the order passed in W.P. No.19986 of 2025.
7. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. No costs.
