O R D E R

This petition has been filed to alter the offence in Crime No.39 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent police registered under Section 174(3) of Cr.P.C.

It is seen that on the death of one Sathya, the second respondent/ Police registered the case in Crime No.39 of 2020, under Section 174(3) of Cr.P.C. On 08.02.2020, the petitioner made a representation before first respondent alleging that one Ilayaraja, who is none other than the husband of the deceased and his family members were caused death to the said Sathya. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this petition to alter the offences.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and during the course of investigation, if there are ingredients to attract the offences as alleged by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to alter the FIR accordingly and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
