The Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner challenging the order of the Assistant Labour Commissioner-Payment of Gratuity Authority, Thirunelveli dated 03.01.2011.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 08.04.2024, there was no representation and the case was adjourned. Thereafter once again when the matter came up on 04.10.2024, there was no representation for both sides, again the matter was adjourned to 22.10.2024.

3. On 22.10.2024 also there was no representation for the petitioner, hence the matter was directed to be listed 'for dismissal' in the first week of November. Accordingly, when the matter is listed today, today also there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
