ORDER

The petitioner and the respondent got married on 17.01.1991 at Cuddalore. The petitioner is aged about 64 years and the respondent is aged about 57 years. They have one son who is aged about 33 years.

2. The respondent/wife has initiated proceeding in M.C.No.37 of 2022 Page No.1 of 4

before the Family Court, Cuddalore.

3. Mr.I.Arokiasamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that except for harassing the petitioner, there is no reason on behalf of the respondent for filing a maintenance case against the petitioner.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner is a Senior Citizen, who is aged about 64 years, and also the fact that the respondent is a permanent resident of Trichy, I am inclined to allow this transfer petition. Hence, the proceeding in M.C.No.37 of 2022, which is now pending on the file of the Family Court, Cuddalore is withdrawn and it shall stand transferred to the file of the Family Court, Trichy.

5. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
