ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner to conduct festival to be celebrated from 04.03.2025 to 10.03.2025 Machampalayam Mariyamman Temple, Moliyapalli Village, Thirucehngode Taluk, 2.
On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents police submitted that so far no representation has been received from the petitioner seeking permission to conduct festival from 04.03.2025 to 10.03.2025 at Machampalayam Mariyamman Temple. However, the counter party was already permitted to conduct festival for Machampalayam Mariyamman Temple, which was held on 18.02.2025. Now the petitioner being the counter party sought for police protection for the very same temple festival. 3.
Considering the above submission, the petitioner is directed to submit fresh representation before the second respondent to conduct festival from 04.03.2025 to 10.03.2025 at Machampalayam Mariyamman Temple and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to
issue notice to the petitioner and counter party and after giving them an opportunity of hearing pass order on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the representation from the petitioner.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
