This revision is filed seeking for a direction to the Principal District Munsif, Gingee, to expedite and complete the proceedings in O.S.
No. 341 of 2015 pending on his file, within certain time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners filed a suit in O.S. No. 341 of 2015, for declaration and permanent injunction. They also filed an Interlocutory Application for injunction and the same was allowed. The said suit was filed in the year 2015 and the same is pending for the past 2 years. The defendants have not filed their written statement as yet and there is no further progress before the trial court. According to the petitioners/ plaintiffs, the respondents/ defendants are unnecessarily prolonging the matter and hence the present revision petition is filed by the petitioners, seeking the aforesaid prayer.
3. Taking into consideration the above facts and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners and also the limited scope of prayer sought in this revision, this Court is inclined to direct the court below to dispose of the said suit, as expeditiously as possible.
4. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No order as to costs.
