ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition filed by the petitioner in W.P.No.2648 of 2015, by order dated 03.10.2016, remanded the matter to the respondents once again for fresh consideration, by setting aside the impugned order dated 02.05.2014, with a direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application/representation dated 18.11.2013 on merits and in accordance with law and in the light of the decision of this Court reported in (2014) 8 MLJ 268 (P.r.Renuka Vs. Director of Animal Husbandry, Central Government Officer Buildings, Chennai-6 and others), within a period of six weeks.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 29.11.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, submitted that the order passed by this Court has been duly complied with by the respondents.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
