Prayer:- Petition filed under Section 397 & 401 of Cr.P.C. to quash the order passed by the District Magistrate in M.C.No.34 of 2011 dated 22.03.2011.

O R D E R

This revision petition has been filed against the order passed by the learned District Magistrate under Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code, prohibiting the petitioner from entering into the Puducherry region for a period of two months from the date of the order or till any further orders are passed by the competent authority revoking this prohibition as per law, whichever is earlier.

2. No order has been passed after 22.03.2011 and now the period itself was over and hence the revision petition has become infructous. However, liberty is given to the respondent to initiate any appropriate proceedings, if so required.

3. With the above observations, the criminal revision petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
